Resident in Fulton County will see 12 local issues on the ballot in the May primary this year, but few candidates. Three Republicans are running unopposed for county offices this year; including Jeffrey Rupp for Fulton County Commissioner, Brett Kolb for county auditor, and Char Lee for an unexpired term for county treasurer. Michael Bumb is also running for Judge of probate and juvenile court in the May primary.
Some of the levies on the Fulton County ballot include crossover issues for the Archbold Community Library, with a renewal levy; and a bond issue for construction of a new school for Liberty Center voters.
The Pike-Delta-York schools have a renewal levy up for emergency requirements; and Swanton Local Schools are seeking an income tax of .75%.
Fulton County voters will decide on a renewal levy for Senior Citizen Services, in a 1.1 mill renewal, with an increase of a half-mill.
The village of Delta is seeking an additional levy of 1.25 mills for operation of the swimming pool.
Fulton Township voters will decide on an additional levy of .75 mills for road construction.
German Township is seeking renewal of their levy for road construction of one mill.
And Swan Creek Township residents will decide on a renewal levy and increase for fire apparatus.
